After waiting years to get around to trying it, I finally tried XCOM: Enemy Within, and it completely consumed my life for a week (I was initially reluctant because I was such a fan of the 1990s versions, I didn't think it could possibly be as good) I liked it so much that I downloaded XCOM: Enemy Unknown Plus (same game even though the title is different) for the Vita even though I had read mixed reviews. Units would randomly get stuck inside objects which would force me to restart missions.
