I've found that it makes for a cosy environment, even though it completely breaks NPC pathfinding within your building.

Disabling an object will disable its colission model and turn it invisible so that it doesn't interfere with any other objects or mechanics, but it will still be there forever, and thus create save bloat in the long run, and could potentially corrupt said save. Just be sure that if you do select an object you want gone permanently with the console, to type 'Markfordelete' and not 'Disable'. And there is a console command you can use to get rid of them hense why I want it.
